KING EDMUND
The Magnificent

King Edmund I, The Magnificent. Crowned November 16 939 C.E.
One of the last great English warrior kings.  The British Royal Family can trace their lineage back to Edmund the Magnificent.  His many battles gained him most of the northern part of England.  Malcolm the 1st, the King of Scots, was an ally of his against the Danes.  Edmund was stabbed to death at a feast and died on May 26,  946 C.E.  He is buried in Glastonbury Abbey, England.

King Edmund the Magnificent has brought the Realm into a time of Hope and Prosperity.  Rumours abound about his health.  Speculation runs rampant that he will be stepping down and handing the throne over to an unknown successor.   Will it come to pass?

BROTHER WILLIAM

Brother William is King Edmund's Royal Herald.  He oversees the Tournaments and makes sure that the tithes are paid.  He is reputed to be a warrior priest, yet there has been no confirmation from any living soul.
SEALE VORTIGURN

Seale is the official Constable of the Realm.  He judges the Tournaments and is beyond corruption, at least that is what the Tournament Champion
always states.
